Enjoy exists for, and because of its community! We have a very talented and valuable group of volunteers who help us out at the gallery with a variety of projects. We're always looking for new and dedicated volunteers to help us out. Please feel free to contact us for more details about Volunteering at Enjoy.
We have a new Reading Room, designed by Andy Irving. Come by and peruse Enjoy's publications and library. Our Library is back, out from the confines of storage for your art reading requirements. You can search for publications available at Enjoy by searching our Library database. The reading room also seamlessly incorporates the workspace of the Enjoy Team.
Programme
Matt Whitwell is Enjoy's Summer Resident. Matt's residency culminated in the exhibition Black Flora, opening on Wednesday 18th January, 6pm. Feel free to stop by and view Black Flora in progress during Gallery hours.
On Thursday February 2 we are excited to be launching Matt Whitwell's Black Flora, published on the ocassion of the exhibition. This is a very limited edition, get in touch to secure a copy.
Publishing
OVER UNDER AND AROUND is the second in Enjoy Gallery's series of 'ocassional journals' that contribute in a timely way to current dialogue on contemporary arts practice. Since 2006, Enjoy Gallery has commissioned writers to generate texts about exhibitions or programme events held at the gallery. These essays form the basis of Enjoy's extensive online archive of art texts.
Co-editors Rachel O'Neill and Thomasin Sleigh commissioned writers Roger Horrocks, Tim Corballis, Bopha Chhay, Miranda Parkes, Dan Arps, M&W, Maria Walls and Creon Upton to respond to this eclectic and energetic store of art writing.
