Submitting Proposals

Submitting proposals

We encourage proposals for exhibition, residency, publication or performance projects. Proposals can be submitted at any time throughout the year, and are reviewed roughly every few months. Scheduled Proposal Review Dates are posted, and updated on this page and over the Enjoy blog.

All proposals should contain enough information to communicate the ideas or concepts behind the project. We prefer to review email submissions with jpeg images. If hard copy images are central to consideration of your work, please submit them in addition to written and emailed proposal. This material can later be returned to you if specified in your application.
A floorplan and wall plan are available to download below, to provide you with the dimensions of our gallery space.

Information should include:

- A written explanation of the project, its themes, rationale and how it relates to the context of Enjoy
- Images of artwork (past work is fine if the work you are proposing is yet to be done)
- An idea of your timeframe; the length of time you feel you need for your project, both how long you wish to exhibit for and the minimum time you need before you are ready to exhibit.

All accepted projects receive:

- Administrative and curatorial support
- Artists Fee (subject to funding)
- Promotion via the Enjoy website, email-out, radio sponsorship, and print material
- Support through web archiving and critical writing. The artist or curator of each show are asked to give an informal gallery talk during the show. These talks are facilitated by an Enjoy representative.

We will always endeavour to get back to you, but should you have not heard from Enjoy within 6 weeks of the scheduled review date following your submission, please consider your proposal to be not accepted.
If you have any questions regarding proposals please contact Gallery Manager & Curator Siv
